Remembering Gen Billy Mitchell

There were many that thought General Billy Mitchell was "crasy". I mean--attack from the Japanese? On a Sunday morning? Air Power?. Because of his views and warnings he was court martialed. He chose to resign the Army but continued to voice his concerns untill his death in 1936..........Then came December 7,1941........................Let's fast track to the presant shall we? In a few weeks we will observe the 10th anneversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. This horrific attack was carried out by very real enimies who hate our Constitution and our American way of life. So how can politicians call Patriotic Americans who love this nation and its people "terrorists"? Who is doing the out of control wastful spending that is ruining this country? and Who are the ones WARNING about such spending? (move over Billy Mitchell)The Tea Party is being trashed and smeared today much like Mitchell was. If you need proof just look at an article on Michele Bachman in Rolling Stone that pictures her as another "Joan of Ark". Hey Rolling Stone-I do believe that Bachmann is hearing voices--of the American people!!The bottom line is this--There are real threats to this nation--spending and real terrorists. It is high time we listen to common sence and save this nation ---2012 will be here soon.

Captain America...2011

In the dark hours of WW2 a hero was created to boost American resolve and to show the enemy that America was UNITED. That hero was Captain America. If you hav'nt seen the new movie just realesed--DO SO!!You will not be disapointed! Cap shines in this movie just as he did when he faced off agenst Red Skull and his Nazi cronies not so long ago. If EVER we need to WAVE the flag for America and FREEDOM---IT IS NOW!!In WW2 we came together as a Nation like we never did before. We knew that if our enimies could divide us so that we would be weakened. Captain America was created and America RALLIED!!!We rallied around God, Cap , and our forces. Today our Armed Forces are engaged and streched to the limit. We have a National mentality that is more conserned about the fall TV lineup than our brave forces defending our freedoms.It does not help when several misguided morons in the media rather write about the faults and not the success of our military. As a US Navy vet myself it just galls me to see some of the crap that is passed off as "journalism". We have REAL HEROS in our military--how about more uplifting stories of them? I have a flag waving outside my window . I salute it every time I see it and I remember our freedom and those who are defending it. IT IS TIME to WAVE the FLAG---AGAIN!! ROOT for Captain America and our forces!!!Now If you excuse me I am gonna see "Captain America-The first Avenger"....AGAIN.

What about...VICTORY?

There has been a LOT of advice and words flung around lately concerning the many areas in which our military are engaged. Tonight President Barack Obama will give a speech conserning troop withdrawl from Afganistan. I find it very interesting that in all the advice and words buzzing around Washington now ---one word strangely is just about absent.THAT word is...VICTORY. It was'nt too long ago when we were at war and VICTORY was the word everywhere! We were bombed at Pearl Harbor and this Nation awoke like it has NEVER done so before! VICTORY was broadcast on every radio, VICTORY was the mission printed in our papers, and songs of AMERICAN VICTORY were sung LOUD and CLEAR!! The comic book hero CAPTAIN AMERICA (movie to be realesed next month) was created at this time. We were fighting Hitlers Nazi Socialist regime as well as the Impeerial Japanese. This hero arose not only to bolster AMERICAN VICTORY SPIRIT but to kick ASS!!WHERE has this CAN DO fighting spirit gone? In the papers today they rush to publish the latest casulty and largly ingnor the many VICTORIES our troops have done!! As a Patriotic US Navy vet I can tell you that TEES me off. My grandfater fought in the trenches in France in WW1.My Dad served on a Distroyer in WW2/ I myself served during the cold war (78-86) on the USS "IKE" CVN 69--deck apes. In EACH and EVERY one of these the word VICTORY was NOT just a word...It was the GOAL!!!People, It is TIME to speak-NO SHOUT! VICTORY AGAIN. VICTORY for our troops no matter where they may be. Let's return VICTORY in our newspapers and media. The voices of Americas past are raised in outcry! This year is the 10th anneversary of the terror attacks of 9-11. We need to shout LET"S ROLL again!and fill the airwaves with songs of VICTORY! IT'S TIME! IT"S TIME!! VICTORY for our TROOPS, VICTORY over enimies who hate us because we are FREE, and VICTORY in 2012 when we VOTE VICTORY over disasterous policies that have almost ruined this GREAT NATION!VICTORY!! VICTORY!! VICTORY!!....Nuff said.

Chamberlain or Churchill?

First the history lesson: On September 30, 1938 the British Prime Minister (at the time)Nelvelle Chamberlain strolled off a airplane-waived a piece of paper in his hand and crowed "Peace for our time" -----YEAH RIIIIIGHT. I can almost see Hitler himself laughing his head off as the Nazi tanks rampage into Poland. Now, let's fast track to the presant shall we? America faces VERY real enemies that constantly treaten our Constitutional liberties and our future. We have Communist who despise our Constitution and we have Islamic terrorists who despise us because we are free Americans. Even now the efforts of Rep John King R-NY are being slammed by the lib media when the threat of terrorism is VERY REAL!! Did not 9/11 mean anything? I remember hearing aboutthe attacks--I rushed home and turned on the TV--just in time to see the second tower fall. When Winston Churchill tried to warn Britan of Hitlers very real threat he was branded a "war monger". I can just imagine Churchill brfore parliment tring to convince those dunderheads of the very real threat they were facing. We all know from history what happened next. Here in America there are many voices being raised conserning the security of this nation. We have the Camberlains as well as the Churchills---who will we listen to?---I choose the latter.

It's on...It is Soooooo ON!!With the arrival of the new faces in the 112th Congress there is a renewed strenth in the Heroic efforts to keep this nation a Constitutional Republic. The current struggle with with Obamacare is just one of many battles that began when the ink on the Constitution was bearly dry. All you have to do is just look at who is tring to control government and who is tring to control....US. It is just that simple. What country do we want? North or south Korea? As a US Navy veteran who has served during the cold war I can tell you there is a WORLD of difference between the two. It is courage and Action time for the new congress---will they do the job the American people voted for them to do?--We will see ...real soon.In the meantime America is watching ..and taking notes.

Shortly after the Japanese surprise attack at Pearl Harbor something happened in our country...something BIG. WE WOKE UP!!!Not only that but this country morphed into a POWERHOUSE like the world had never seen before. On this 69th anneversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks we must remind ourselves of what happened and remember. We were attacked by an enemy bent on our distruction. The Japanese thought that if we were delt such a resounding blow that we we would fragment both politically and morally --then seek peace on their terms....they thought WRONG!On 9-11 madmen flew planes with innocent civilians into two towers in New York City --America -under GOD-is still united agenst terror!!Likewise any wannabe enemy of liberty is sadly mistaken if they think that America is a push-over. I am convinced that his country STILL has what it takes not only for VICTORY of our armed forces but to lead peacably as well. All across America there will be meetings and ceremonies--I myself am a VFW Navy vet who has served during the cold war --I will be attending many. We must remember --this day--and always the heroes who fought for our liberties and our American way of life. At the same time we as FREE Americans CAN and WILL defend our God given liberties from ALL enemies both foreign and domestic....and WE will do so UNITED!!!!

For years the George W Bush bashing bandwagon were playing their sour notes from coast to coast. The Bushwhackers in the LAMEstream media could not get enough to throw at this guy!! Now we have a highly successful PRO-AMERICA Rally ( over 500.000 showed up) hosted by Glenn Beck andwhat does the intrepid media do? YOU GUESSED IT-they pull out the Bash-attacks. Just this week Beck has been called evrything from a "in it for the money" to a "fear monger loudmouth" some one correct me if I am wrong here but if someone who is very confitant points to have faith in God and this great country of ours--HOW is that fear mongering?? If anyone is truly "fear mongering" it is a so called "free" press that is alost totally ignoring a very real recession and 9.5 unemployment that is FACT!!This so called "summer of recovery" is just more hot air talk--now that WILL cause global warming. The Restore Honor rally in Washington DC proved to the left that Americans are finding out what is really going on and they are doing something ABOUT IT!!!It also scared the B-GBERS out of a press that has been listening to the same leftist-siren song for much too long. I do agree with something reported in the press said. I read Americans should take steps to create jobs---THEY DID! at the Rally -showing up to voice what is on their mind!!!! They will take steps again.....THIS NOVEMBER!!!

Look past the liberal smear machine

Well, well, well-what do we have here? CNN with a segment called "anatomy of a smear"? Do tell. I guess with so many in the liberal media are such experts at this art form such a segment should come naturally. I remember not too long ago when a CNN reporter at a TEA party rally said they were "anti-government" and "anti-CNN" Yeah RIGHT. How about the coverage of the security firm Blackwater? This All American security firm was dragged thru the MUD being called "mercenary" (never mind the fact that a mercenary is hired by a forgien government to fight and Blackwatter worked for the UNITED STATES state dept)-but what do real facts matter with many in the media??I also remember when talk show host Rush limbaugh exposed the phony soldier on his show. The liberal media had a HEYDAY!!Linbaugh was lamblasted, trashed and lashed from coast to coast--but guess what? HE WAS RIGHT!!!I could go on here about how the so-called "independant" press covers Glenn Beck, Boortz or Sarah Palin but I do believe I have made my point. We have so many in the media that are pushing the liberal adgenda rather than objectively covering the news and giving facts. We have an out of control spending Tax-a- holic Frankenstien government that is runing the future of our childern and what is the media largely focused on??--what happens next with Mel Gibson!!! Between now and November I can tell you things are going to get interesting...real quick. I am just thankful we have outlets like World Net Daily, Newsmax and many conservative blogs to get the stuff the liberal media just does not cover. Stay tuned.

Heroic Israeli forces thwart terror mission

"it" was no "freedom" flotella. If these boats carring knife/steel pipe welding "activists" was on a "peace" mission then I'm the" Prince of Persia."If thge cargo they were carring was "humanitarian" then WHY the refusal to be inspected? furthermore, Israel offered to take the cargo to an Israeli port--this was also refused. Every week Israel delivers over 10,000 TONS of food, medicine , and other humanitarian supplies into Gaza who suffer daily under the rule of Hamas.When the Israeli forces boarded to inspect the cargo they were immediately attacked with knives and steel pipes. WOW--that really sounds like a "peace' mission to me. Israel has TWICE intercepted weapons-laden ships from Iran ( Hmmm I wonder what Irans's plans are??) These ships were destined for the terror groups of hezbollah in in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. We hear the fiery retoric from Islamic radicals (and others) who blame Israel for this trouble and yet THEY are the ones who are welding steel pipes and firing rockets at unarmed Israeli civilians and calling for the distruction of the 'jewish problem" Hmmm I wonder where Ihave heard this retoric before--OH YES! In tapes of Nazi Germany in the 1930s! Israel is on the frontlines in much larger struggle that conserns free nations everywhere.The very ones who are full of hate for the democracy of Israel have plans for every nation that do not see things "their" way. Those who would continue to live free must wake up to what is really happening all around them---for many in America we woke up on 9/11.

Individual Liberty & Obamacare...don't mix

I do not live in Virginia, however, I applaud the action of the attorney general there. Not just in Virginia but Florida and 12 other states are joining the fight to defeat the assault on our Indavidual Liberty contained in the Obamacare law. Where does it say that the federal government has the right to dictate our purchasing of ANY goods or services?? The taxes alone in this law further the danger to our economy already in a great crisis. Let me use a quote the worse financial crisis "since the great depression" Hmmmm I wonder who said THAT?? Yes, the Constitution has the Commerce Clause--BUT WHAT IF I as a free American choose not do do commerse? Will I be forced to "commerce" agenst my will? I know I have to have car insurance if I own a car but WHAT IF I choose --as a free American--NOT to buy one?? Can GM (Government Motors-my opinion) force me to buy "their " caddy when I want to buy a Ford Mustang??The last time I checked I was living in the United States of America--NOT the united state of Cuba. The issues the lawsuits of the attorney generals raises are of the highest importance to the future of Indavidual liberty in this country. How much more power will the federal government have over our lives and the states? This year is an election year. I am convinced that the very future of America as a Constitutional Rebublic is at stake. I will be watching the progress of the courageous efforts of Virginia, Florida, and the other states. The ones who have voted for Obamacare have indeed made their choices....I am glad in November it will be the American voters turn!!

"Davy Crockett" We need you now.

One of my favorite moments in the series "adventures of Davy Crockett" was when Davy Crockett played( brilliantly by Fess Parker ) went to congress. Ripping up a piece of legislation he boldly stood up and defended the indians. Parker-who this past week died will be missed by all America!!In one of the final moments shows Crockett "with his trusty gun" heading out west...to the Alamo. Now, today there is a 2000 plus page legislation called Obamacare we are facing. We need a "Davy Crockett" in congress now. In my opinion this is one of the most dangerous legislation disasters ever to disgrace the halls of congress. Not only does it mandate that everyone buys insurance (or else) it clearly targets privite insurance compinies with so much regulation that many will go out of buisness altogether. I wonder who will take over the insurance buisness if that happens??food for thought is'nt it??This bill needs to be ripped up and start over. Today we are facing a all new kind of "wild frontier". This one largly created by power hungry politicians many who could not care less what we think or want or what the Constitution says.All you have to do is just look at how the TEA Party rallies are looked at by the "news"and many in Washington. I do not know what will happen today with the vote on Obamacare. However, This one thing I do know: No matter how the vote goes today -the battle is not over..in many ways it has just begun. Now, if you excuse me I have to go get my coon-skin cap.

First of all I want to wish a speedy and full recovery to the wife and daughter of magority leader Harry Reid. Most of us have heard of the terrible accident they were involved in and no matter how one my differ politically with another when something like this happens the God given compassion in all of us kicks in. Politics takes the back burner--a get well to all involved. Secondly, I want to introduce myself. I am a US Navy vet was honored to serve in the best armed service in the world!I believe in Freedom, the defense of liberty,and good strong coffee. (hence the blogname)I am not connected to the security firm formerly known by that name.HOWEVER, I fully support all of our brave armed forces and the US defense contractors who are in harms way for America. This nation is currently a nation at war. There are those outside (and inside)our borders who hate our liberty and think our constitution is just a piece of paper-a "flawed" document. We need to get back to the principles as well as the very ROCK this nation was founded on. IT IS NOT TOO LATE!! The TEA Party rallies said it best---it is up to WE the PEOPLE...AGAIN!! This blog is hereby dedicated to point to the founding principles of our great nation and to bring about peaceful positive change thru the voting process. let's get busy!
